New MedTech Innovation Hub Opens in Ontario

Audacity North launched in Aurora, Ontario, on 20 October to help medical technology companies move innovations toward commercial use. The initiative brings together Megalab, York University’s Schulich School of Business and YSpace, with access to laboratory facilities, mentorship, capital connections and business expertise. Medical-device developers and life-sciences companies can use innovation hubs to support product testing, commercialisation and business development. The launch report describes a 45,000-square-foot facility, but did not disclose a total investment or contract price.
