Federal Office Modernisation Contracts Awarded in Canada

Federal contract notices dated 13 October included a $4.8 million award for the 131 Queen office-space fit-up and modernisation project. A separate office fit-up contract for 200 Town Centre, awarded on 14 October, was reported at approximately $2.2 million. Commercial fit-out projects can generate demand for construction management, workplace planning, building systems and project oversight. The publicly reported values are approximately $4.8 million and $2.2 million for the respective office projects, rather than general market estimates.
