Canada Advances C$15 Million Programme for Zero-Emission Public Transport

On 29 October 2026, Canada opened a funding intake to help communities plan the transition to zero-emission transit fleets. The programme can provide up to C$15 million over five years for eligible planning and advisory services, supporting cleaner transport strategies and emissions-reduction planning. Individual project allocations will depend on applications and eligibility. HPC can support sustainability consultancies and transport operators with emissions analytics, energy-demand forecasting, environmental modelling and sustainability-monitoring platforms.
