Wealthsimple Secures C$425 Million Financing at C$13.8 Billion Valuation

On 27 October 2026, Canadian financial-services company Wealthsimple announced an agreement for up to C$425 million in financing led by Singapore’s GIC, with participation from existing investors including CPP Investments, Power Corporation and IGM Financial. The package includes C$300 million in new equity and C$125 million in employee share purchases, valuing the company at approximately C$13.8 billion. The financing highlights continued investor interest in Canadian fintech and digital wealth-management services. HPC can support financial institutions with portfolio analytics, credit-risk modelling, financial forecasting and secure data-processing systems.
