On 28 October 2026, PMET Resources announced that its subsidiary Innova Lithium had received approval for a C$1,215,185 contribution from Natural Resources Canada’s First and Last Mile Fund. The funding will support upgrades to approximately 20 kilometres of access road serving the Shaakichiuwaanaan critical-minerals project in Quebec, improving access for future mining activity.
The project creates opportunities for road contractors, equipment suppliers, engineering firms and mining logistics providers. HPC can support industrial operators with supply-chain analytics, production modelling, equipment planning and logistics optimisation.
