Canada Advances Regulatory Planning for Zero-Emission Transit Funding

On 29 October 2026, the federal government opened the Zero Emission Transit Fund’s Planning Support Services intake, with up to C$15 million available over five years. Eligible organisations can provide advisory and planning services to transit operators preparing for zero-emission fleets, subject to programme requirements and application approval. The programme creates demand for regulatory assessments, procurement advice, funding applications and environmental compliance services.
