Canada and Manitoba Finalise C$479.8 Million Housing and Infrastructure Agreement

On 30 October 2026, the governments of Canada and Manitoba finalised an agreement providing C$479.8 million over ten years for infrastructure priorities connected to housing and post-secondary education. The wider package also includes C$218.4 million in health infrastructure funding over three years, supporting community development and essential public facilities. The funding creates opportunities for developers, construction companies, engineering consultants and housing-infrastructure contractors.
